Labor Law and Data Protection Law
We advise in all questions of individual and collective labor law in Germany. We assist on contract design and remuneration schemes, flexible deployment of personnel, temporary employment, company pension schemes and termination of employment, as well as major restructuring and reorganization measures and transactions.
Furthermore, we advise companies on all data protection issues, for example on the implementation of the requirements of the GDPR, which often overlaps with labor law.
Our expertise includes, in particular, the preparation of data protection policies for employees and external parties, the preparation of records of processing activities and IT security guidelines, the implementation of data protection impact assessments, the negotiation of works agreements and, last but not least, communication with the data protection authorities to coordinate audits and, if necessary, to ward off fines.
